Celebrating The Chinese New Year

Today our WHOLE school celebrated The Chinese New Year! Each class made different decorations and then we all participated in a parade. We had so much fun!!! It was great to let our kiddies have fun and get loud...since we haven't had recess in 2 weeks! And rumor is, we have snow coming next week!!!

Our class made headbands using Melonheadz grahpics and accordion dragons on popsicle sticks. Our headbands were inspired by Mr. Greg at Kindergarten Smorgasboard...thank you Mr. Greg.☺

A big THANK YOU to this cutie pie...she made our class a special sign, at home last night, for our class to carry during the parade!

So Happy Chinese New Year Friends...may you all have the best of luck and success this year!!!❤️❤️❤️

Penguin Opinion Writing

After learning about the 17 different species of penguins, for the past couple of weeks, our students wrote their opinion text about their favorites today. They did a fabulous job!!! We have all fallen in love with these cute little flightless birds. We will be sharing more of our learning about penguins later this weekend!

We also made our Penguin Research Craftivity and hung them on our locker clips!!! We LOVE how unique and special they all are!

If you are interested in seeing the unit we used with our 2ndies, you can get a closer look at our store on TPT.👯❤️
